It is easy to stop at certain points when reading to talk with your child about their experience, outlets, or feelings they have had, worry they will have, and that it is normal. The kin and book would make a lovely baby shower gift for an older sibling.

This was one of three books I bought for my toddler. I bought this one because we just had a baby (2 under 2, send help 😅) and she was having some trouble with the change of having a new baby at home. I wanted her to know that she will ALWAYS be loved and that it's okay to have big feelings about change. This book is an amazing tool that goes through that!
